“AMS Noord, artistic repurposing of industrial spaces”
I created a visual culture magazine about the use of industrial spaces in Amsterdam North (Dutch: Noord). This area is a former industrial district, known for its old buildings and ship wharfs that over the years, have been repurposed into art & culture spaces. This revitalisation of Noord’s urban landscape fascinated me, prompting me to share its story.
I was overseeing every aspect of the magazine’s creation, from directing its content to conducting interviews with artists and industry professionals. While most of the visuals were captured through my lens, I incorporated a few historical images sourced from the City Archive.
